LAHORE: Chairman Steering Committee Sports Punjab Hanif Abbasi, Punjab Minister for Sports Jahangir Khanzada and Secretary Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan visited State of the Art Punjab International Swimming Pool in Nishtar Park Sports Complex on Monday.
Director Admin Javed Rasheed Chohan, Divisional Sports Officer Nadim Qaiser and other top officials were also present on this occasion. The above-mentioned dignitaries inspected various parts of the modern swimming pool.
Talking on this occasion, Chairman Steering Committee Sports Punjab Hanif Abbasi said SBP has been introducing top standard sporting facilities in various parts of the province to flourish young talent in the country. “International Swimming Pool Complex is yet another international standard sporting facility in the provincial capital,” he added.
Punjab Minister for Sports Jahangir Khanzada said that the SBP swimming pool will be first of its kind in the country. “The swimming pool is laced with facility of warm and cold water and the temperature of the water can be changed as per requirement and weather conditions,” he disclosed.
Secretary Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan, on this occasion said: “It will help Pakistan in producing several international level swimmers. Our country has plenty of potential in every field including sports. It needs just proper grooming and international level facilities and training,” he further said.
