Islamabad:-Malik Zeeshan won the title Mr. Punjab while Farzanad Ali became Jr. Punjab in the national body building competition held at Islamabad.Under the banner of Pakistan Amateur Bodybuilding Association more than 100 body builders across the country participated in two days mega event held at Islamabad on Sunday morning. Punjab’s Sheikh Rehan won the Abdul Ahaad memorial event. Overall the Lahore stood first, with 67 points while Rawalpindi 57 points and stood second. Body building teams from Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Gujranwala, and Chakwal participated in the competition. The victorious Bodybuilder was awarded the champion trophy and cash prizes. At this occasion, Chief Organizer Pakistan Amateur Bodybuilding Association international Bodybuilder Ahmad Sadiq, Chairman Mix Martial Arts and CEO Raja Martial Arts and Fitness Gym , Grand Master Shihan Raja Khalid, International Bodybuilders Sakhawat Ali, Sheikh Saeed, Abdul Raouf Dogar, Haji Faisal Aslam, Muhammad Ramzan, Aftab Ahmed,Asghar Ali Mubarak, Malik ,Muhammad Maqood also present at prize distribution ceremony .
During the Mr. Punjab and junior Mr. Punjab compatriots’ senior national and international former renowned body builder Ahmed Sadiq, Mr.Asia Syead Muhammad ,Ehasan Mehmood ,Aghar ali Mubarak performed their duty as competition judges. According to details in class senior A, Zeeshan Malik first, Malik Imran second, Aftab Ahmed third, Mohammad Zubair fourth, Hasanin Abbas, fifth got position in the senior category , in class senior B Ghulam Rasool first, Asfand Ali Yar second, Asfand Khan third , Mustansar Hussain fourth, Waqar Sheikh fifth and Danish Riaz got sixth position, in class C Mohammad Asif first, Raja Saad Aftab, second, Zohaib Hassan third, while Muhammad Usman, Sana ullah and Mohammad Iqbal respectively got fourth, fifth and sixth position. In Junior Class A Harris Aslam first Farzand Ali second, Zain Rajput third, Raja Shoaib fourth, Suno Mono fifth, Muhammad Guleri Mughal sixth and Adrees Ul Hassan seventh. In Junior B Sheikh Arsalan first Awais Manzoor second, Osama Nawaz Bloch third, Malik Ehtasham fourth, Adil Khan fifth and Arsalan Aziz declared for sixth position.
Addressing the participants’ the guests of honor in their speeches said that through sports activities we can build a better and strong Pakistani nation. Pakistani bodybuilders will particepate this year in Mr. World’s competitions scheduled in October in Italy, World bodybuilding champion ship Manila Philippine and Mr. Universal competitions in UAE in December this year. This opportunity will be highlights the soft image of the country.
