Men & Women squash teams finalized for Asian Games

Islamabad:-Pakistan Squash Federation has finalized the Men & Women teams for  participation in the forthcoming Asian Games, being held at Jakarta (Indonesia) between 18 Aug –  02 Sept, 2018.

Open trials were conducted in Feb,18 and the best possible teams were selected through transparent procedure.  After trials, selected Pakistan squash teams for Men & Women participated in the Asian Team Championship held in Korea between 20 – 25 Mar,18.  During said championship, Pakistan won Silver Medal in Men whereas Women team finished at No 8.  Considering their performance in Asian Championship, the PSF Board has decided to send the same teams for the Asian Games at Jakarta, as well.

Based upon the decision, Mr Farhan Zaman, Tayyab Aslam, Amaad Fareed and Muhammad Asim Khan would represent in Men event whereas Madina Zafar, Faiza Zafar and Riffat Khan would play in Women’ Event.

A training camp has been arranged for the selected players immediately after the forthcoming Pakistan Squash Circuit for Men & Women from 08 – 13 May, 2018.
