Hassan Sardar Exceles for Qami cc.

KARACHI: A good all-round show from Hassan Sardar guided Qasmi CC to a five-wicket victory against Soni Associates  in the 31st Aga Khan Gymkhana T-20 Ramazan Cricket Tournament 2018 here on Saturday.

Hassan, who was declared man-of-the-match in the Group ‘C’ tie at the AKG Ground , first claimed three wickets for 21 runs with his right arm leg spin bowling before unbeaten top-scoring with an 32-ball 43 featuring three boundaries and a brace of sixes.

Qasmi CC’s Captain Asbid Qasmi won the toss and elected to field first, the Soni Associates  team could only post a 126-9 wickets in allotted 20 overs.

Asif Izhar was the top scorer with 36 off 33 balls with two sixes and a four, Ahmed Hussain scored 30 off 40 balls with three fours. Apart from Hassan Sardar , slow left-armer waseem Ali stood out for Qasmi CC with excellent analysis of three wickets for 25 runs.

Qasmi CC. in reply, reached their target by making 127-5 in18.2 overs. Riaz Mirani batted well to score 30 off 20 balls with five boundaries.

off-spinner Ali Iqbal snared two wickets for 32 runs but heroics were unable to prevent Qasmi CC from winning.
