All- rounder Ramiz steers holder Doller East to first win.

Karachi:—A Brilliant All round display from first class cricker Ramiz Aziz as holder Doller East clinched a 40-run victory over Zee State in the 31st Aga Khan Ramazan T20 Cricket Tournament at the Aga Khan Gymkhana Ground here on friday.

Doller East  first success in the competition after a the loss vs jaffer Brothers  in Group “A”, the victory was made possible by Ramiz who first scored a dazziling 20-ball 49* runs with the aid of six hug sixes and  to help his team to posted a big total on the board 209-5 in 20 overs.

Opener test cricketer Khurram Manzoor hit six boundaries and one sixe in making a 34-ball 54 runs.Ejaz Ali Shah contributed 41 in 31 ball with 5 fours and 2 sixes both added 83 runs for the opening stand, Jahanda Khan made 20 ball 36 with 2 fours and 3 sixes.

Slow left Armer Roan Khayam  claimed 2-26.

In reply, Zee State showed good fighting spirit particularly their opener All-rounder Rao Khayam led the way his team with a splendid 42-ball 87 studded five sixes and nine boundaries. zeeshan Farooq contributed 35 off 25 balls with four  boundaries and two sixes.they added 104 for the opening partnership, Yawar Bhsir scored 24 off 14 balls with two sixes an one four.

However, the  Zee State’s valiant effort was not enough as the Zees State were restricted to177-9 in 20 overs with Ramiz Aziz claiming thee wickets for 41, Kasif Bhatti and Azam Hussain taking two wickets each for 32 and 39 runs respectively.

Later.Test Fast Bowler Mohammad Sami and Head of soprts Dollere East Zaheer Ahmed  Shaikh given away the man of the match award to Ramiz Aziz.Mir Afzal Baig, Irfan Surani and other were also present.
