KARACHI: Opener Akhtar Mohammad and left arm spinner Kamran Hussain guided Qasmi CC’s back-to-back three- wictory in the 31st Aga Khan Gymkhana Ramazan Cricket tournament with a match-winning knock of 77 here on Saturday at AKG Ground.

 in Group ‘C’, Qasmi CC  beat host Aga Khan Gymkhana by 7 wickets they were win all their three league-round matches and race in the knock out stage as afford Group chaimpion.

Qasmi CC skipper Abidjan Qasmi choose to field first after won the toss, Host Aga Khan Gymkhana failed to cash in fully on the splendid platform provided by opener Parvez Ali (83 off 48 balls, ten fours and three sixes) and Javed Mansoor (41 off 35 balls , two fours and one six), both added 117 in 69 balls for the second wicket as host AKG posted a decent total of 161-9 in 20 overs, Hamid Ali khan scored 19 off 10 ball with one four and one six.

Slow left armer Kamran Hussain grabbed four wicket to give away only 19 rouns in four overs in he took all 4 wickets in his last over with maiden over.

Akhtar rode his luck, having been dropped no less than two times, on 18 and 24 to score 76 off 46 balls with the help three sixes and nine fours. He was adjudged Man of the Match ahead of his teammate Kamran Hussain who picked up four-wicket haul as Qasmi CC reached thier target 165- 3 in 16.5 overs. Asif Siddqi contributed 28 off 27 ball with four fours he and Akhtar added 96 runs for the opening stand, Bilal Irshad made  36 off 26 balls witness two fours and two sixes.
