World Cup 2019: West Indies vs New Zealand preview

MANCHESTER: New Zealand take on West Indies in the World Cup at Old Trafford in Manchester today.

New Zealand currently sit on the second spot on the points table with four wins out of five games. Their match against India was washed out.

New Zealand are the only other team besides India who have yet to lose a game at the World Cup. They defeated Sri Lanka in their opening match of the tournament by 10 wickets followed by a two-wicket win over Bangladesh. They next thumped Afghanistan by seven wickets and then defeated South Africa by four wickets.

On the other hand, West Indies sit seventh on the points table and are looking for their second win of the tournament. Their lone win of the tournament came against Pakistan.

The match between West Indies and New Zealand will begin at 5:30pm Pakistan Standard Time.
