65th Air Marshal (R) Muhammad Nur Khan National Hockey Championship 2019 will commence Today

Karachi:The 65th Air Marshal (R) Muhammad Nur Khan National Hockey Championship 2019 will commence at Abdul Sattar Edhi Hockey Stadium, Karachi from (Today) July 23 to August 4, 2019 in which 20 teams will be seen in action. Opening ceremony of the Hockey Championship will be on 4:30 PM at Abdul Sattar Edhi Hockey Stadium Karachi. Air Vice Marshal Noor Abbas (Tamgha-e-Imtiaz military (2005), Sitara-e-Imtiaz military (2013), Hilal-e-Imtiaz military (2017)) Advisor to Chairman PIA will inaugurate the 65th National Championships.

Olympian Abdul Hanif Khan is the tournament director of championship. Total 20 teams will be in action during the championship, which are divided into four groups. Five matches will be played daily while the quarterfinals will be played on August 1, August 2 will be rest day while the semi-finals on 3rd August and grand final will be held on August 4 (Sunday).
