Annual awards ceremony and seminar under the Sports Journalists Association Sindh

Karachi (Sports Reporter) The annual awards ceremony and seminar under the Sports Journalists Association Sindh (Sajjas) was held in Karachi Gymkhana last year as a sports journalist.  On the occasion, Special Selected Olympic Manzoor Junior Guest, Chief Selector of Pakistan Hockey Federation. He distributed awards among talented players and journalists along with Pat Sajas Dr. Syed Junaid Ali Shah, Dr. Farhan Isa.  During the ceremony, the founding members of Sajjas and the first elected President Rashid Ali Siddiqui were the five young talent awards of late, youth athlete Fatima Sana Khan, Asian Team Snooker Champion Zulfiqar A. Qadir, table tennis player Arham Bin Fakhli, and Special Television.  Awarded to tennis player Hur Fatima Fawad, Bau? Ling player Ali Soria, Mohammad Rashid Nasim and baseball player Shiraz Asif received the Sajjas Special Awards.  Six sports journalists Alam Zeeb, Yawar Abbas, Ali Hassan, Shah Zeeb Baig, Ehsan Khan and Prince Moin were awarded the Hassan Performance Awards, in recognition of the exemplary reporting of sports to senior sports journalist and TV anchor Mirza Iqbal Baig.  The second Dr. Muhammad Ali Shah was awarded the Gold Medal.  Starplayer Aqeel Khan, who has made a name for the country in the field of tennis worldwide for the past 24 years during the ceremony, was given a special gold medal by Sajas. On this occasion, to cooperate with Sajas for the last four years.  Mohammad Aslam Khan of Karachi City Sports Association, journalist Irshad Sati, Mohammad Nasim (KDA), former Joint Secretary of Karachi City Cricket Association Jamil Ahmed, Founder Chairman of Pakistan Hockey Institute Prof. Ravi? Javed Iqbal, Secretary.  Hockey Association Haider Hussain, Vice President Pakistan Bau? Ling Association Memorial to Khawaja Ahmed Straight  His services were appreciated by this shield. During the close the executive committee members Sajjad Khan, Javed Iqbal, Ishaq Baloch, Hassanin Anwar, Mahmood Riaz, Mohsin Raza, Shahid Ali Khan, Omar Shaheen, Obaid Awan, Ibadullah Khan.  Special shields including special member Kashif Farooqi and members of Pakistan Reuters Sports Federation Imtiaz Ali Naranja, senior journalist Rashid Aziz, Pattern Sajas Dr Junaid Ali Shah and Dr Farhan Isa were also given special shields.  Speaking on the occasion, special guest Olympian Chief Selector Manzoor Junior told the participants that the role of the media in promoting sports cannot be overlooked; sports journalists are critical in bringing the capabilities of any player to the fore.  Sajas has emerged in a while and it is a pleasure to see today’s crowd, hopefully in the future it will work even better for body sports journalists.  He said that hockey is in his blood and that is why he has accepted the position in PHF as a challenge.  When hockey was short, I was at a peak and today Pakistan joined the Federation on the fall of hockey, but has vowed that Insha Allah will once again bring back the aspiring past of the national sport.  National hockey is hitting aggressively.  Can’t call this game a bad one and will not tolerate hockey humiliation.  Tennis star Aqeel Khan thanked Sajjas for the award, saying that media plays a vital role in promoting sports and encouraging players and they intend to establish their own tennis academy after retirement from the game.  The time is high to win the Fox Davis Cup by doing well against India.  Chairman of Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Federation Alamgir Sheikh, Patan Sajjas Dr. Junaid Ali Shah, Dr. Farhan Isa, Iqbal Munir and other speakers were addressed at the ceremony.  Former Hockey Olympian Iftikhar Syed, Shuja Naqvi, Sindh Olympic Association Secretary Ahmed Ali Rajput, Muhammad Akram Khan of the Royal Boxing Federation, Barkat Ali, Vice President of Pakistan Tennis Federation Khalid Jamil Shamsi, President of Karachi Basketball Association  Ghulam Muhammad Khan, Vice President of Sindh Tennis Association, Khalid Rahmani, Sarwar Hussain, SoA Vice President Engineer Saiful Haq, Tariq Ali of Jojisto, Asif Azim, Secretary General of Pakistan Softball Association, Former Secretary of KCCA  Shafiq Kazmi, National Bank’s Anwar Farooqui, Azmatullah Khan.
