LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Sports, Youth Affairs and Tourism Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti said Punjab govt as per the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan will continue to extend every kind of cooperation for the holding of sports activities across the province; he said this while talking on the closing day of 2-day 4th National Youth and Junior Athletics Championship at Punjab Stadium on Tuesday.
Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh, President Athletics Federation of Pakistan (AFP) Maj-Gen (retd) Akram Sahi, Secretary General AFP Muhammad Zafar, Director Sports Hafeez Bhatti and other top officials were also present on this occasion.
Punjab Minister for Sports, Youth Affairs and Tourism Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti was warmly received upon reaching at the Punjab Stadium. He also distributed medals among the top position holders on the final day of championship. President Athletics Federation of Pakistan (AFP) Maj-Gen (retd) Akram Sahi presented souvenirs to Punjab Minister for Sports, Youth Affairs and Tourism Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti and Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh on this occasion.
The 4th National Youth and Junior Athletics Championship was organized under the auspices of Athletics Federation of Pakistan and with the collaboration of Sports Board Punjab (SBP).
Punjab Minister for Sports, Youth Affairs and Tourism Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti said 4th National Youth and Junior Athletics Championship provided a suitable platform to male and female athletes of the country to express their talent. “After watching athletics potential of our male and female athletes in the 2-day championship, we can expect that the future of athletics is bright in our country,” he added.
