Lahore: Sindh U16 cricketers Kashan Fahim and Muhammad Sikandar have been reprimanded for a Level 1 offence which relates to showing dissent at an umpire’s decision during a match in their PCB-Pepsi U16 Cricket Stars three-day tournament fixture against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.
Kashan’s incident happened in the 15th over of Sindh’s innings when he rubbed his shoulder after he was given out caught. He was charged by on-field umpires Shahid Qayyum and Farooq Bajwa for the violation of Article 2.8 of the PCB’s Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel.
Kashan pleaded guilty and was reprimanded by match referee Ghulam Mustafa. Sikandar’s incident happened in the 43rd over of Sindh’s innings when there was an obvious delay in him leaving the pitch after he was given out caught behind.
He was charged by on-field umpires Shahid Qayyum and Farooq Bajwa for the violation of Article 2.8 of the PCB’s Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel.
Sikandar pleaded guilty and was reprimanded by match referee Ghulam Mustafa.
