Abid Ali punches Vishwa Fernando through the offside to raucous Pindi cheers, becoming:
The first man in history to make Test AND ODI tons on debut
The first Pakistan batsman to make a hundred at home in 10 years
The first Pakistan batsman to make a ton in Pindi since 2000 (the last was Younis Khan, also on debut)

Apart from the very occasional play-and-miss, he has been adept against spin and pace. The only bowler to cause him even mild discomfort was Lahiru Kumara, who bowled at his ribs for a few overs with a leg slip in. He dealt with that challenge nicely.
