Serena Hotels-Huawei Pakistan International Squash Tournament – Tayyab Aslam and Sabrina Sobhy win finals
Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) organized Serena Hotels-Huawei Pakistan International Squash Tournament for Men & Women between 15 – 19 December, 2019 at Mushaf Squash Complex, Islamabad. Besides Pakistan, a large number of international Men & Women squash players from Austria, Egypt, Germany, Hong Kong, Jordon, Malaysia, Portugal, Switzerland and USA participated.
The tournament Finals were played today (19 Dec, 19). Vice Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Asim Zaheer graced the closing ceremony as chief guest and awarded prizes & trophies to the finalist players. CEO Serena Hotels Mr Aziz Bolani, squash legend Mr Qamar Zaman, dignitaries and a large number of players, officials and squash enthusiasts also attended the closing ceremony.
In Women Final, World No 52 Sabrina Sobhy (USA) bt World No 101 Hana Moataz (Egypt) with a game score of 11-7, 11-9, 11-9. The match lasted for 30 Minutes.
In Men Final, World No 60 Tayyab Aslam (Pakistan) bt World No 91 Farhan Mehboob (Pakistan) with a game score of 11-8, 13-11, 11-4. The match lasted for 40 Minutes.
