Young Almas FC clinches Quetta District Football League

Karachi: Young Almas Football Club overcame Young Kharotabad Football Club on penalty kicks in the climax of Quetta District League Football Championship (Division-A) at Sardar Yar Muhammad Bareach Football Ground in Quetta.

During the regulation time, both teams seemingly put their best as the score-line remained leveled at 2-2 when the referee blew the final whistle. However, Young Almas FC prevailed in the penalty kicks with 4-2 score.

Sports Minister Balochistan Abdul Khaliq Hazara was the chief guest during the closing ceremony. He distributed trophies among the participants.

Meanwhile, he praised Leisure Leagues for its endeavors to promote football in the country and for their support in organizing this tournament as well.

Secretary Balochistan Football Association Lala Akbar Raisani, Ex-Chairman Balochistan Football Association Haji Khalil Ahmed, Ex-Chairman Balochistan Referee Association Ali Muhammad, Coordinator District Football Association Quetta) Sultan Aziz Baraech and Regional Manager Leisure Leagues were also present during the closing ceremony
