Karachi: Both girls and boys’ teams from host PAF Chapter campus won titles in The City School Inter-Branch U-14 Football Tournament.
The City School organized its second tournament after successfully hosting U-10 tournament in collaboration with Leisure Leagues, a well-known small-sided football organizer in the country, which has presence in nearly 80 cities of the country.
A total of 16 teams participated in the tournament.
Girls team from PAF Chapter recorded 2-0 victory against Gulshan ‘C’ in the summit clash to annex the title to its name.
Earlier in semifinals, PAF Chapter defeated Darkhshan Campus by 1-0 score while Gulshan ‘C’ beat PECHS Campus by 3-1 on penalty kicks.
In boys event, PAF Chapter team overcame Gulistan-e-Jauhar University Road Campus by 1-0 in final.
In semifinals, PAF Chapter defeated North Nazimabad Campus by 1-0 score while Gulistan-e-Jauhar University Road Campus overcame PECHS Campus 3-2 on penalty kicks.
Leisure Leagues Manager Riaz Ahmed supervised the tournament while Javed Bangash performed referee’s duties.
