LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Sports, Youth Affairs and Tourism Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti, in a statement on Saturday has termed the holding of Kabaddi World Cup 2020 in Pakistan a historic occasion in the sports history of the country.
“The attractive promo of Kabaddi World Cup 2020 has also been released. We are spreading a peace message as per the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan through Kabaddi World Cup 2020 being organized jointly by Punjab govt, Sports Board Punjab and Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF)”.
Punjab Minister for Sports, Youth Affairs and Tourism Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti further said that participation of world’s top kabaddi stars will make it worth-watching grand event. “The tickets of Kabaddi World Cup 2020 will be available from today. The upcoming mega kabaddi tournament and other sports events will also play a key role in paving way for international tourists”.
Punjab Minister for Sports, Youth Affairs and Tourism Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti urged the people from all walks of life to come forward and make it a successful event. “It is best time to present our traditional games especially kabaddi before international community,” he added.
President Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF) Ch Shafay Hussain, in a statement on Saturday said that the preparations of Kabaddi World Cup 2020 have been completed. “We will say welcome to families in Kabaddi World Cup 2020 matches being organized in Lahore, Faisalabad and Gujrat,” he added.
President Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF) Ch Shafay Hussain further said that the game of kabaddi will get rapid promotion among young generation after the holding of Kabaddi World Cup. He asked the people of Punjab to show their enthusiasm with traditional games and witness exciting kabaddi matches among best players of the world in the ground.
