LAHORE: Sports Board Punjab (SBP) has established a quarantine centre at the hostel of State of the Art Tennis Stadium, at Nishtar Park Sports Complex for the treatment of coronavirus patients.
The quarantine centre has been set up with the collaboration of City District Govt and Health Department to provide timely treatment to coronavirus patients. The 67 coronavirus patients including 52 men, 10 women and five children who were brought from Multan have been shifted at the quarantine centre.
Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh, in a statement on Monday, said all departments are making combine efforts to fight this deadly virus. “There is no need to get afraid of coronavirus. Our people can get complete protection from coronavirus by adopting preventive measures issued by the government,” he added.
Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh said Sports Board Punjab is taking equally effective measures to get rid of coronavirus alongside Punjab govt. “In this regard the hostel of State of the Art Tennis Stadium has been converted into quarantine centre where Sports Board Punjab is providing best health facilities to coronavirus patients. The concerned staff is taking great care of clean and tidy atmosphere at the quarantine centre”.
Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh said almost all the countries of the world are being affected due to coronavirus pandemic. “However, the situation is under control in our province due to effective precautionary measures of Punjab govt. It is best time for people from all walks of life to take maximum protective steps by their own to keep them and their dear ones safe from fatal coronavirus,” he advised.
