The virtual seminar was hosted by Ms. Leyla Kuliyeva, Chairperson, Anti Doping & Education Commission. Ju-Jitsu Asian Union,from JJAU HQ and assisted by Dr Ucksy Mallick, and Dr.Warda Hameed Members, Anti Doping & Education Committee, JJAU from Pakistan.
Pakistan Ju Jitsu Officials, Coaches & Senior athletes attended the webinar and learnt about the doping control process and prohibited substances and methods. A short Q&A session was also conducted to clear queries from all those attending, which included representatives from all affiliated units of Pakistan Ju-Jitsu Federation.
This is the first JJAU webinar for PJJF family on Anti Doping Education.
President, Pakistan Ju-Jitsu Federation (PJJF), Khalil Ahmed Khan lauded the initiative taken by JJAU and welcomed such webinars for its athletes and management. He insisted that Doping Control is of utmost importance and its education should be spread all over Pakistan to all its units. PJJF management has zero tolerance policy on Doping issues.
Mr.Tariq Ali, Associate Secretary of Pakistan Ju-Jitsu Federation (PJJF), who played pivotal role in organizing this seminar has extended his appreciation to all attendees and thanked the expertise of Ms. Leyla and Dr. Ucksy Mallick and Dr. Warda Hameed. He also pledged that a local webinar/ virtual seminar shall also be conducted in the national language for all Ju-Jitsu athletes/coaches and officials very soon by the PJJF to educate our young athletes.
Due to COVID 19 Pandemic, JJAU has started series of virtual Anti-Doping educational programs for athletes, referees, coaches, etc by introducing education through the live sessions.
