Islamabad:Naseem Shah, a young fast bowler of Pakistan cricket team, has said that it is difficult to adopt social distance on the field during cricket but in the current situation there is no other option.
The International Cricket Council’s guidelines require players to follow a number of guidelines, including social distance on the field.
Players usually hug and celebrate after taking a wicket or any victory on the field, but this will no longer be possible.
He said that all the players will try to be careful on the field, when the situation improves, everything will be as normal as before.
The 17-year-old fast bowler, who has played four Tests for Pakistan, said that the players have their own habits for polishing the ball but now it will be necessary to control it.
It is to be noted that the ICC Cricket Committee in its recommendations has made a point to ban the use of saliva by players to polish the ball so as to prevent the spread of Corona virus after the revival of cricket.
Naseem Shah further said that he is mentally ready for the tour of England, this will be his first tour of England and he will try to perform better and learn as much as possible in this tour so that his game can be further improved.
To a question, the young fast bowler said that he is happy to get a central contract, his goal is to play his best in the format and wherever he gets the opportunity to play a role in the team’s victory.
