PCB chief executive wasim khan come forward to help distressed former cricketers, match officials

Lahore:Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Executive Wasim Khan has announced a donation of Rs 1.5 million from his personal expenses to help financially distressed former cricketers, match officials, scorers and groundsmen. ۔

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has come under fire in recent days for firing and retaining employees and high salaries for senior officials.

Wasim Khan, the first chief executive, expressed regret over the decision to fire the employees and apologized and now announced to donate to the fund.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Executive Wasim Khan has said that he has personally decided to provide financial assistance to the troubled players, match officials and ground staff.

“It’s a small part of my chairman’s welfare fund that has already been set up to help players, match officials and ground staff,” he said.
