Karachi:Recently, a new chapter was added to the Karachi Hockey Association when the flood lights installed in the KHA Sports Complex were switched on by the Sindh Government on a trial basis. There are four towers installed in the complex, each of which Includes 16 2000 watt lights with a total number of 64. These lights are illuminated with the help of 300 Kv generator. This generator is also provided by Sindh Government.
The installation of lights will now help players learn the national game in Syria as well
With the installation of floodlights, KHA Sports Complex has become the fourth floodlights hockey ground in the city. The other three hockey stadiums include Abdul Sattar Edhi Hockey Stadium, Iftikhar Syed Hockey Academy and Dr. MA Shah Hockey Academy.
Remember that in the past, KHA Sports Complex was in a very dilapidated condition.
Former International Hockey Player and Secretary Karachi Hockey Association Syed Haider Hussain has thanked Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah for his keen interest in the national game.
