Islamabad:Not only national cricketers are praying for the health of former national cricket team captain Shahid Afridi, who is suffering from the global epidemic, but also foreign international cricketers are looking worried.
Responding to Shahid Afridi’s tweet on social networking site Twitter, they are sharing messages based on prayers and good wishes for him.
Former Bangladesh cricket captain Mushfiqur Rahim shared a photo with Shahid Afridi and wrote, “The news of Shahid Afridi’s suffering from corona has saddened him. May Allah grant Shahid Afridi a speedy recovery.”
Mushfiqur Rahim also asked his fans to pray for Shahid Afridi’s speedy recovery.
The International Cricket Council’s (ICC) official Twitter account also responded to Shahid Afridi’s tweet.
Former Sri Lankan opener Sanath Jayasuriya wrote in his message that his prayers and best wishes are with Shahid Afridi.
He wrote that Shahid Afridi should recover soon and continue his welfare work.
