PSL Franchise Unhappy with Board’s behavior and wrong decisions

Lahore:Matters of Pakistan’s successful brand Pakistan Super League (PSL) are getting confused, franchises have expressed surprise at the increase in expenses despite being in PSL Pakistan.

In this regard, the franchises have written a letter to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in which they have drawn attention to the demands and issues and urged them to resolve them.

Sources said that Chief Executive Wasim Khan has also been contacted to save PSL, PSL franchises have informed the board about the problems.

According to sources, the PSL franchisees are unhappy with the attitude and wrong decisions of the board. They are shocked at the increase in expenses despite the event being held in Pakistan. The franchisees are also angry with the demand for payment of dues instead of pool sharing.

Sources said that due to non-fulfillment of pending demands, the PSL franchisees had to write a joint letter and demand from the top officials of the board that demands like termination of bank guarantee, extension of ownership and separate company should be met. Have increased

Demands include setting a dollar limit and abolishing new taxes. The franchisees complain that the issues have been addressed in the past but not listened to and the franchise is not included in important matters.

According to sources, the franchisees fear that the attitude and decisions of the current board management may tarnish the image of PSL. A meeting of the governing council has not been convened for a long time to hear and resolve the issues and demands of the franchisees.
