Lahore:Officials of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and English Cricket Board (ECB) discussed training facilities and travel arrangements in a teleconference regarding the Pakistan cricket team’s tour of England.

According to sources, in a brief teleconference on Monday, PCB and ECB officials considered the places of Derby and Worcester for initial quarantine and training during the Pakistan cricket team’s tour of England.
Birmingham’s venue has also been considered before.

According to sources, Derby is likely to be chosen as the venue as there are hotels near the ground as well as indoor net facilities.

The departure schedule for the Pakistan cricket team’s tour of England was also discussed in the teleconference and the PCB has also talked to the English authorities about spending more time in England.

The Pakistan team is likely to leave for England on July 1 or 2, but the English Cricket Board will give a final reply to the PCB on Friday on the availability of chartered aircraft, flight schedule and training venues.

On the other hand, the Pakistan Cricket Board is also considering various options to gather players from other cities in one city. Before the departure of national players, corona tests will be held in two parts on June 20 and 25.
