LAHORE: Left-arm fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi says he made a mistake by training with fellow cricketers on the ground during the global epidemic of corona virus.
Shaheen Shah Afridi has represented Pakistan in 8 Tests, 19 ODIs and 12 T20I matches. As a permanent part of all three formats, Shaheen Shah Afridi has now been included in the A category of the Central Contract.

During the lockdown caused by Corona virus, some players of Pakistan cricket team were seen going to the grounds and training. Among them fast bowler Shaheen Afridi was training along with other teammates Fakhr Zaman, Imran Khan Sr. and Naseem Shah. After which the Pakistan Cricket Board had to take action and they asked the cricketers to strictly follow the precautionary SOPs and guidelines.
Shaheen Shah Afridi said that cricket had not been played for a long time, he had been away from cricket for two months, it seemed that it was too late to leave cricket, so he went to the field to play which was a mistake. And the things that the PCB told us later were strictly followed.
He said that now they are not training together and SOPs are following.
Fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi said that conditions in England have always been difficult, this time too it will be difficult but now if we are leaving ahead of time then we will benefit from it. The bowling squad is not completely young and inexperienced. Wahab Yaz, Mohammad Abbas, Sohail Khan and Imran Khan Sr. are also in the squad. Our bowling coaches are also experienced. Our bowling squad will perform well.
Shaheen Shah Afridi said that Wahab Riaz is an experienced and senior bowler and he has joined the team again.
It will benefit us and give us a chance to learn.
Shaheen Afridi says that he has been working hard from the beginning but did not think that he would be a part of all three formats so soon. I remember my bowling was good in my last match in England during the World Cup.
Now my target is to do well in Test cricket, the focus is on good performance in Test cricket.
