Islamabad:The Federal Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination formed the Pakistan Sports Board. According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination, the Chairman Higher Education Commission (HEC) has also been appointed as a member of the Pakistan Sports Board.
According to the notification, the Managing Director of National Engineering Services Pakistan (Nespak) or its representatives will be a member of the board. The President and Secretary of the Athletic Federation have also been appointed as members of the Pakistan Sports Board.
President, Secretary and President of Pakistan Football Federation and Services Sports Control Board while President of Pakistan Olympic Association has also been appointed as a member of the board.
According to the notification, well-known businessman Aqeel Karim Dhedi and Shafiq Ahmad Abbasi have also been appointed as members of Pakistan Sports Board.
