West Indies defeated England by 4 wickets in first test

In the first Test of the first cricket series, which started several months later due to the global epidemic Corona, the visiting West Indies defeated England by 4 wickets.

West Indies completed the 200-run target in the fourth innings at a loss of 6 wickets thanks to 95 runs by Jermaine Blackwood.

Chasing the target of 200 runs, West Indies faced difficulties in the beginning and 3 players returned to the pavilion for 27 runs.

On this occasion, Jermaine Blackwood played a responsible innings and played a significant role in the victory by scoring 95 runs. Ruston Chase scored 37 and Dwight scored 20 runs while captain Jason Holder remained unbeaten on 14 runs.

Shannon Gabriel took 9 wickets in the match for which he was awarded Man of the Match.

West Indies have won the Southampton Test to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.
