Pakistan Disabled Circket Association (PDCA) do financial support to 93 disabled Players of all over the country in connection of Covid pandemic. Players were awarded Rs. 10,000/- each. PDCA along with ICRC cash support program their special cricketers at this critical situation of Covid-19 Tendons.
This was disclosed by PDCA Hon,Secretary Amiruddin Ansari in a press release. According to Amir the PDCA Coordination committee including Javed Khan, Aslam Bareach, Javed Ashraf, Raja Tahir, Rafay Hashmi, Sajid Khan, Saeed Ali and Wasi-ur-Rehman finalized the list of effected players from altogether 16 regions. Mr. Amir Uddin Ansari loudly appreciate the contribution of ICRC and said that “PDCA is grateful to higher authorities of ICRC specially to Head of the ICRC physical Rehabilitation Program Josef Nogales for supporting our special cricketers at this Covid-19 Relevance stars criticalities.”
However Head of the ICRC physical Rehabilitation Program Josef Nogales adds, “Since, 1984 we have been working in Pakistan to provide prosthetic and orthotic Support to people who have lost a limb in the Current Circumstances, it is time for Solidarity, inclusion and Compassion.
He further said that “we continue to work in our Capacities with the authorities and local Partners to ensure that the voices and needy people with disabilities are addressed”.
To ensure long term sustainability of services, the ICRC works in Close Cooperation with local partner for its physical Rehabilitation program (PRP).to ensure Continuity of Services during COVID-19, ICRC is working with PIPOS Rehabilitation Services, program, CHAL Foundation, DGHS Merged Areas (Landikotal and Bajaur, Rehab Initiative, LRH).
