Manchester:Pakistan cricket team has reached Manchester for the first Test against England where the national team participated in the first practice session at Old Trafford.
The first Test of the three-match series between Pakistan and England starts on August 5 in Old Trafford, Manchester.
For the first Test, the Pakistan cricket team reached Manchester from Derby on Saturday and held its first practice session at Old Trafford on Sunday. The practice session was attended by 20 shortlisted players for the test.
The national cricketers practiced batting, bowling and fielding and tried to adjust to the conditions.
On the other hand, Pakistan cricket team head coach Misbah-ul-Haq also consulted other members of the team management and captain Azhar Ali on the final XI and considered the choice of bowling combination.
Sources said that the top six batsmen have been agreed upon but the final decision on the option of going with two spinners or one spinner has not been taken yet.
