Manchester:The Pakistan cricket team practiced at Old Trafford on Sunday for the first ICC World Test Championship fixture against England, which will start on Wednesday, 5 August.
The following is the schedule of Pakistan’s training sessions and media conferences for the first Test.
Monday, 3 August
At 1300 PST (0900 BST)), Pakistan head coach and chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq will hold a virtual media conference for the Pakistan media. At 1340 PST (0940 BST), Pakistan head coach and chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq will hold a virtual media conference for the England media. The Pakistan men’s national cricket team will train at Old Trafford from 1400 PST (1000 BST). At 1500 PST (1100 BST), England all-rounder Chris Woakes will hold his virtual media conference.
Tuesday, 4 August
At 1500 PST (1100 BST), Pakistan captain Azhar Ali will hold his virtual media conference for the Pakistan media. At 1540 PST (1140 BST), Pakistan captain Azhar Ali will hold his virtual media conference for the England media. At 1400 PST (1000 BST), England captain Joe Root will hold his virtual media conference. Pakistan media interested in attending this session are advised to write to England men’s national cricket team Head of Communications, Danny Reuben, at Danny.Reuben@ecb.co.uk.The Pakistan men’s national cricket team will train at Old Trafford from 1800 PST (1400 BST).
Wednesday, 5 August
The toss is scheduled to take place at 1430 PST (1030 BST), with the first ball bowled at 1500 PST (11 BST). After the day’s play, there will be post-day’s play media conferences.
Thursday, 6 August until the end of the Test
Play is scheduled to start at 1500 PST (1100 BST). After the end of the day’s play or match, there will be media conferences.
Monday, 10 August
The Pakistan men’s national cricket team will travel to Southampton and has not media activities planned.Team’s schedule of activities will be shared after the team has arrived in Southampton, where the second Test will commence from Thursday, 13 August.
