Azhar Ali becomes fifth Pakistani batsman to score 6000 Test runs

Southampton: Pakistan’s Test captain Azhar Ali has become the fifth Pakistani batsman to score 6000 runs in Test cricket.

He achieved this feat in the ongoing Test against England at the Rose Bowl and joined the elite list which includes Younis Khan (10099), Javed Miandad (8832), Inzamam-ul-Haq (8829) and Mohammad Yousuf (7530).

Azhar has represented Pakistan in 80 Tests, scoring over 6000 runs with the help of 16 centuries and 31 fifties.
