Under-16 games trials completed in Lower Dir

Under-16 games trials completed in Lower Dir. 9 players each selected from hockey and football, 4 from volleyball, 2 from badminton, 3 from table tennis while 5 players were selected from athletics.

The sports department Lower Dir conducted/held Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under-16 trials at Timergara Lower Dir.

Under the headship of Mr. Shafqat Ullah(Chief coach from provincial directorate), Prominent professional coaches Messrs Barkat Ullah, Shakoor, Hayat Ullah, Ibrahim, Wasif Ullah and Abid from Peshawar supervised the trials.

District Sports Officer Mr. Bakht Shah Zeb, newly appointed assistant Mr. Ibrar Ahmad conducted the trials alongwith Mr. Malik Shah Nasim Khan( President All Sports Association Lower Dir), Kalim Ullah, Azmat Hayat, Sajjad Hayat, Muhammad Shah, Faraz Khan, Abdul Wadood, Imran Uddin, and others.

Mr. Malak Nasim Shah appreciated merit and transparency observed while selecting the players.

Mr. Malik Nasim Shah also thanked DG sports Mr. Asfandyar Khattak for appointing Mr. Ibrar Ahmad as assistant in Lower Dir. He expresed hope that with the appointment of Mr. Ibrar Ahmad, sports will be promoted positively in Lower Dir.
