District Central announces 20-member hockey team led by Taha Raza

KARACHI: A 20-member hockey team from District Central has been announced for the Sindh Under-25 Inter-District Hockey Championship.

Taha Raza will lead the team while Abdullah Bukhari has been appointed as the vice-captain. Hasnain Solangi, Nadeem Akram, Shozab Raza, Syed Muhammad Saad Ali, Anas Siddiqui, Arifullah, Ryan-ur-Rehman, Syed Iraj Hussain, Shaheer Qasim, Emaaz Ali, Arsalan, Huzaifa Shahid, Sameer, Rohail, Umar Anis and Ali Tabi. three-member selection committee comprising Latafat Hussain Shah, Mubashir Mukhtar and Samiullah Khan announced the names of the players and team officials. The training camp lasted for seven days at Olympian Islahuddin and Dr Muhammad Ali Shah Hockey Academy. Team officials include Syed Saghir Hussain Manager, Sabteen Raza Head Coach, Syed Aly Hassan, Wasif Raza Coaches and Waqas Hassan Goalkeeper Coach. The DHA Central team will participate in the Hockey Championship to be held at Olympian Islahuddin and Dr. Muhammad Ali Shah Hockey Academy from October 3.
