Strong protest to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for ignoring cricketer from Karachi in National squad

Karachi:Prof Syed Sirajul Islam Bukhari who had been Hony Secretary of Karachi City Cricket Association for over 34 years including one term as President KCCA, has issued a strong protest to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for ignoring cricketer from Karachi and has appealed to Mr Imran Khan, Prime Minister of Pakistan who happens to be the Patron in Chief of PCB, to hold an enquiry for this step- motherly and biased action, restoring deserving cricketers in the 22 members Pakistan squad.

In an impassioned press statement, Prof Siraj Bukhari said” It is unfortunate that for the first time in the history of Pakistan cricket such biased and prejudiced treatment has been meted out to cricketers of 25 million city of Karachi, which has given bulk of outstanding cricketers to Pakistan. He said non- inclusion of Danish Aziz who has given outstanding performances in recent National T- 20 Cricket Tournament winning two Man of the Matches, Hassan Khan, Azam Khan and Zahid Mahmood of Dadu from the younger lot and Khurrum Manzoor and Sohail Khan from the senior group have given outstanding performances. I would like to make a fervent appeal to the PCB Patron in Chief to hold an enquiry and do justice to these deserving and highly talented cricketers.,Prof Siraj Bukhari concluded.
