LAHORE : Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti said the life and teachings of Holy Prophet (PBUH) are an example for all the mankind; he said this while addressing a grand Mehfil-e-Naat at National Hockey Stadium on Friday.
Secretary Youth Affairs and Sports Punjab Ehsan Bhutta, Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh, Director Admin Javed Chohan, Director Sports Hafeez Bhatti, Divisional Sports Officer Nadeem Qaiser, Deputy Director Rauf Bajwa, DSO Tanveer Shah, Fayaz Ali, Assistant Directors M Riaz, M Bilal and a large number of people also attended the Naat ceremony. Dozens of naat khawans presented beautiful naats on this occasion.
Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti, Secretary Youth Affairs and Sports Punjab Ehsan Bhutta, Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh and other officials also cut a cake in the Naat ceremony organized under the auspices of Directorate General Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab and Sports Officers and Employees Welfare Association Punjab in connection with Jashan-e-Eid Milad un Nabi (PBUH).
Addressing the Naat ceremony, Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti said: “Muslims across the world celebrate this great occasion every year with full religious fervor and the life of Holy Prophet (PBUH) is truly a great source of inspiration and guidance for every Muslim”.
Secretary Youth Affairs and Sports Ehsan Bhutta said: “Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a role model for every person of this world who believes in Allah and the Day of Judgment. Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is an excellent demonstration of truthfulness, balance, justice, coexistence and compassion. He was a torch-bearer and blessing for the entire universe”.
Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh, on this occasion said: “It is a matter of pride that we are the adherents of Muhammad’s (S.A.W.) religion whose own life is embodiment of mercy and lofty moral ideals. The life of the Holy Prophet is a never ending stream of guidance for all humans in all walks of life and the legacy of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) will live on forever,” he said.
