Pakistan Hockey Federation to continue its domestic hockey activities

The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has decided to continue its domestic hockey activities.

The Pakistan Hockey Federation recently successfully hosted the National Hockey Championship in Rawalpindi and now the PHF has decided that a series of more domestic hockey events will continue but the Corona virus SOPs are strictly enforced.

Secretary Pakistan Hockey Federation Asif Bajwa said that no complaint regarding code-19 was raised during the National Hockey Championship, the event was held in a splendid manner, now more domestic hockey activities will be continued The SOPs of Corona virus that have been developed will be implemented.

Asif Bajwa said that U-16 Hockey Championship is starting from November 28 in Peshawar for which all preparations have been completed and after that we are going to hold Chief of Army Staff Cup and Chief of Naval Staff Cup.

He said that Women’s Hockey Championship will also be played while camps of Pakistan senior and junior hockey teams are being organized, during which a series between senior and junior teams will also be played.

The Secretary PHF further said that the senior team will participate in the Asian Hockey Championship in March while the junior team will play in the Junior Asia Cup in July and it is hoped that the corona virus situation will remain under control.
