KARACHI: Talented Muhammad Junaid excelled with a good all-round performance as defending champion Rangoonwala outclassed Hhawks United CC by 6 wicket to reach the final of the second corporate colour-kit T20 League Cricket Tournament here on yesterday.

Earlier choose to bat first Hawks United CC, were bowled out for 142 in 19.4 overs in the first semi-final here at the Quaid e Azam park Cricket Ground in steel township. Muhammad Talha scored 42 off 31 with five fours and one six, M.Hamza 24 but the rest struggled againts Rangoonwala’s bowlers as right arm leg spinner skipper Ejaz Ahmed (3-21), pacer, Moazzam Ali (2-21) and Muhammad Junaid (1-12) tormented them.
In reply Rangoonwala CC reached the target 148-4l with man-of-the-match Khushdil striking four sixes and three boundaries in 61-ball knock of not out Junaid got good support from Ahmed Abdul Malik, who scored 34 off 32 with five fours.
Mohammad Sabih, and Saad Sultan got one wickets each.
The second semi final will be played between Karachi Striker and C Square Pythons.
