Mahoor Shahzad has secured an Invitational Place in Badminton and will be representing Pakistan at the Tokyo Olympics.
Pakistan badminton star, Mahoor Shahzad has secured an Invitational Place in Badminton and will be representing Pakistan at the Tokyo Olympics, according to a press release issued by the Pakistan Olympic Association (POA).
The 24-year-old national badminton champion from consecutive five years, Mahoor Shahzad is languishing at 144 in the world with 45 wins in her vocation.
“POA president retired Lt Gen Syed Arif Hasan has felicitated Mahoor Shahzad and appreciated the POA Secretariat and Wajid Ali of Pakistan Badminton Federation for scrupulously following the process and completion of formalities. The POA has duly informed IOC and BWF of acceptance of the Invitational Place,” the press release stated. Ms. Mahoor Shahzad has secured Invitational Place in Badminton and shall be representing Pakistan at Tokyo 2020
Lt. Gen (R) Syed Arif Hasan President POA has felicitated Ms. Mahoor Shahzad and appreciated the POA Secretariat and Mr. Wajid Ali from Pakistan Badminton Federation for scrupulously following the process and completion of formalities.
Pakistan Olympic Association has duly informed IOC and BWF of acceptance of Invitational Place.
