West Indies Women scored 234/3 in 45.3 overs when there rain came, South Africa ended the match on 87/5 chasing the Duckworth/Lewis/Stern (DLS) revised target of 204 from 29 overs.

When asked about her batting, Dottin said, “The plan wasn’t specifically to score 150 but it was just to be consistent and continue where I left off last year. The weather is not something we can control and we have more games ahead, so it’s only up from here. Batting with Hayley is easy because she bats her natural game… I just wished she had stayed around longer.I’m looking forward to the same performance and better (for the remainder of matches).”
West Indies Women and South Africa Women will face-off for the second One Day International at the Imperial Wanderers Stadium on Monday 31. It is a day fixture with first ball at 10:00am (4:00am Eastern Caribbean/3:00am Jamaica).
