Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti and Director General Sports Punjab Javed Chohan, on Monday, congratulated the newly-elected office-bearers of Sports Journalists Association of Lahore (SJAL).
It may be noted here that Aqeel Ahmed and Ashraf Ch won elections of President and Secretary SJAL respectively while Ehteshamul Haq and Makhdoom Abubakar Bilal will serve SJAL officer for six months each as treasurer after getting equal number of votes.
In a joint felicitation message to SJAL President Aqeel Ahmed, Secretary Ashraf Ch and Treasurers Ehteshamul Haq and Makhdoom Abubakar Bilal, Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti and Director General Sports Punjab Javed Chohan said that sports journalists have always played a key role for the promotion of sports. “SJAL’s is rendering remarkable services for the coverage of sports events in Lahore. Sports Board Punjab and SJAL will continue to work together for the promotion and development of sports in future,” they added.
