Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti expresses deep grief over the death of legendary Olympian Abdul Waheed Khan

LAHORE (Feb 21, 2022): Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti has expressed profound grief on the sad demise of Olympian Abdul Waheed Khan, a member of the team that won Pakistan’s first hockey gold medal in 1960 Rome Olympic Games.

In a condolence message on Monday, Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti stated: “May Allah Almighty shower His blessings and grant eternal peace to the departed soul and give strength and courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
