LAHORE (March 8, 2022): Director General Sports Punjab Javed Chohan said there is plenty of sports potential in all parts of Punjab and Sports Board Punjab is taking effective measures to preserve this talent; he said this while addressing the prize distribution ceremony of Inter-Varsity Women Basketball Championship 2022 at Nishtar Park Sports Complex Gymnasium Hall on Monday.

Inter-Varsity Women Basketball Championship 2022 was held as part of Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Sports Drive. Chief Sports Consultant SBP Hafeez Bhatti was also present on this occasion.

Director General Sports Punjab Javed Chohan distributed prizes, medals and trophies among winner and runners-up women basketball teams. The winner and runners-up women basketball teams also had group photos with Director General Sports Punjab Javed Chohan who was chief guest on this occasion.

Director General Sports Punjab Javed Chohan said that the 73rd edition of Punjab Games will be organized in the last week of March, 2022. “This time we will organize the Punjab Games with better preparations as compared to the previous edition,” he added.
