Farman Mohammad of Peshawar won Pakistan Day Cycle Race

Farman Mohammad of Peshawar Division won the Pakistan Day Cycle Race. The Cycle Race organized by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cycling Association on the occasion of Pakistan Day was 25 km from Patang Chowk Ring Road to Hayatabad Sports Complex.  Race was Inaugurated by Nisar Ahmed, President Provincial Cycling Association, the race was attended by 26 athletes from cycling clubs of Peshawar, Mardan and Malakand divisions.

Imran got Second and Siddiqullah took third place with 40 minutes and 55 minutes. Administrator Hayatabad Sports Complex Shah Faisla  distributed trophies, certificates and cash prizes among the athletes. On occasion he address and praised the efforts of Provincial Cycling Association.  He said that KP cycling association definitely organize cycling events on every occasion which not only promotes the sport but on the other hand events are organized on the occasion of National days which also increases the tendency towards cycling among the people.

 

That  Nowadays cycling is very important for everyone. Daily exercise is essential for all the people living the busiest life and cycling is very important in this regard. Taking some time for cycling on a daily basis  He hoped that our cyclists would continue to excel not only nationally but also internationally and earn more honour for the country.
