Chooks-to-Go becomes FIBA 3×3 World Tour Global Partner

MIES (Switzerland) – Filipino food chain Chooks-to-Go was appointed as Global Partner for the FIBA 3×3 World Tour, the most prestigious competition of the 3×3 professional circuit.

“It is our great pleasure to announce Chooks-to-Go as our new FIBA 3×3 World Tour Global Partner, host of two FIBA 3×3 World Tour events per year and related qualifiers” FIBA 3×3 Managing Director Alex Sanchez said. “This is another step in a great collaboration, which saw Chooks-to-Go manage successful 3×3 competitions for the last couple of years. We can’t wait to host more events and grow the discipline in the Philippines, a country which has been so passionate about 3×3.”

The Philippines have previously hosted two successful FIBA 3×3 World Tour events in 2014 and 2015, and the FIBA 3×3 World Cup in 2018. The new partnership with Chooks-to-Go includes the organization of two FIBA 3×3 World Tour Masters, in Manila and Cebu on May 28-29 and October 1-2 respectively.

“We are very excited to become a FIBA 3×3 World Tour Global Partner,” Chooks-to-Go President Ronald Mascariñas said. “We know the Filipino fans are extremely enthusiastic about 3×3 and the chance for the country to go from the streets to the Olympics. Bringing the World Tour back to the Philippines for the first time in seven years is our first contribution to this nationwide goal.”

The FIBA 3×3 World Tour will start with the Utsunomiya Opener on May 14-15, feature a record 13 events this year and will culminate with the Abu Dhabi Final on December 9-10, 2022.
