LAHORE (April 7, 2022): Directorate General of Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab and an NGO Rahnuma – Family Planning Association of Pakistan (FPAP) joined hands to provide valuable counseling and guidance to talented youth including male and female players regarding education, health, career opportunities and psycho-social support.
In this regard Director General Sports Punjab Javed Chohan and NGO Rahnuma’s Regional Director Punjab Sarfraz Kazmi signed an MoU at National Hockey Stadium on Thursday.
Director Youth Affairs Syed Omair Hassan, Chief Sports Consultant Hafeez Bhatti, IT Incharge Jawadullah and other officials were also present on this occasion.
Under the MoU, a Punjab Youth Helpline and Kamyab Jawan Markaz will be established at Nishtar Park Sports Complex E-Library to provide effective guidelines to youth for the redressal of their multiple issues.
Talking on this occasion, Director General Sports Punjab Javed Chohan said that Kamyab Jawan Markaz will be established at all E-Libraries of the province to provide complete direction to desirous youth of the province.
Director General Sports Punjab Javed Chohan further said that through these facilities, potential youth of the province can brighten their careers. “We are pretty upbeat to transform a large number of budding boys and girls into useful citizens by providing them proper guidance,” he stated.
Director General Sports Punjab Javed Chohan said that the Sports and Youth Affairs Department Punjab is taking important measures for the welfare of youth of the province. “Now our talented youth could be able to choose their career quite comfortably through Punjab Youth Helpline”.
Director General Sports Punjab Javed Chohan said our country has been blessed with a large number of youth and now we will be able to resolve key issues of our youth through this helpline. “Our doors are open for all talented youth of the province and young people both male and females from across the province can avail these counseling services”.
NGO Rahnuma’s Regional Director Punjab Sarfraz Kazmi on this occasion said that under the MoU several seminars, youth workshops and training sessions will be conducted to mobilize talented youth of the province. “We have 51 Youth Centers throughout the country and 16 in Punjab where we are extending valuable counseling service to potential youth for the selection of a suitable career and job etc besides resolving other important issues”.
Sarfraz Kazmi appreciated the Directorate General of Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab for taking effective measures for the welfare of the sports and youth community of the province. He urged the youth to fully avail the great facility of Kamyab Jawan Markaz to make their future bright.
