Peshawar, DI Khan team qualified for 1st inter divisiinal women Tchoukball championship

The Peshawar and Dera Ismail Khan (DIK) women Tchoukball team won thier semi final matches of inter divisional championship and qualified for the final.

In the first semi final played at Batta Kundi Mansehra Peshawar women team beat Malakand team by 16-12 scores while in second semi final DIK smashed Kohat women team by 16-9 scores.  The grand final match of the championship will be played between DIK and Peshawar women tchoukball team. Ahmad Zaman Khan, Regional Sports Officer (RSO) Hazarh Division will be cheif guest of the final match while he will be accompanied by Wajeeh Ullah, chairman provincial Tchoukball association , Muhammad Iqbal, president Tchoukball association, Abdur Rasheed, general secretary of the association and others. Talking to media persons Abdur Rasheed said that the association is making best efforts and use all sorts of sources for the promotion of Tchoukball game in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He added that it is best oppertunity for female Tchoukball game to show their talent in the championship and it will be fruitful for finding out female talented players.

He maintained that the association organize such kind of tournament and championship for male as well as for female Tchoukball players for several years but no financial grant provides to the association by Directorate of Sports General Government of KP.  He further said that participating of Muhammad Tahir Orakzai, secretary sports is a good stepd which encouraged the players and the association.
