Women Teqball Academy establishes in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Under the auspices of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Teqball Association (KPTA) Teqball academy established for women in Qayyum Sports Complex, Peshawar.
In the first phase, 12 female player of Teqball game will be given training in the academy while the number will be increased with passage of time.
Aziz Ullah, Director Sports Operation was chief guest of the inaugural ceremony of the academy while on the occasion vice president of Pakistan Teqball Federation, general secretary KPTBA Wajahat Ali, international table tennis player Iqra Rahman, Coach Mian Absar Ali and Jalal Ud Din were also present.
On the occasion a practice match of game was played between Sarah and Asma.
Wajahat Ali while appreciating the steps taken for the promotion of tegball game by the KPTBA said that the women Teqball academy would train the female players for the national championship competition.

Addressing on the occasion Aziz Ullah said Teqball is a new game for the people but with great efforts of Wajahat and Jalal the game is becoming more popular among the sports lovers. ” With the establishment of women Teqball academy , talented players will get an opportunity to show their skills and will come forward” he said and added that directorate of  sports KP would fully support the said academy.
