| What a day! It was an action-packed day nine with six finals, including both women’s and men’s 4x100m relays that made the crowd roar and saw USA and Canada take gold, respectively. Portugal’s Pedro Pichardo won the men’s triple jump with an impressive 17.95m leap, and Kenya’s Emmanuel Korir shone in the men’s 800m to climb the highest step of the podium. The men’s javelin throw battle between India’s Neeraj Chopra and Grenada’s Anderson Peters saw Peters come out on top, while Ethiopia’s Tsegay brought home the women’s 5000m.
