Syed Azhar Ali Shah, President Pakistan Cycling Federation has informed that PFC cycling team will participate in the Individual Time Trial (ITT) events of the forthcoming World Road Cycling Championship scheduled to be held w.e.f 17 to 25 September, 2022 in Australia. He stated that PCF team will consist of two male and two female cyclists.
In this regard two (2) Selection Committees has been constituted under the Championship of Mr. Muazzam Khan, Secretary General PCF. The Committees will conduct trials at Lahore and Karachi on 05.08.2022 and 07.08.2022. Miss Maham will be coordinator of the Selection Committee for Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while Mr. Javed Khan has been notified as Coordinator of Selection Committee of Sindh and Balochistan. Other members of the Selection Committee Sindh is Mr. Javed Khan, Mr. Ishtiaq and Punjab selection committee members are Mr. Adnan Hassan khan, Mr. Nusrat Khan and Mr. Sardar Nazakat
Mr. Shah further stated that only those players will be allowed for trial who possess valid passports and cycling license. He requested all teams to nominate their top male / female cyclists for trials.
