It is an extremely shameful seen in Commonwealth Badminton 2022 when in women’s doubles both the 19 years old girls Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand sealed the best of five tie, team event to 5-0, thrashing the Pakistani Olympian Mahoor Shahzad pairing with national doubles champion Ghazala Siddique with miserable points 21-4 21-5.

This is the street level game, showed by the top Pakistani Olympian shuttlers, dishearten the nation against the traditional rivel, said the international badminton coach Raziuddin Ahmad. He asked PBF if the players are not capable to fight then why to send. The Olympian Mahoor was noising over the drop signal of badminton team by Pakistan Sport Board that proved true.

On the other side none of the shuttler could win any single game against India in their opening fixture of mixed team event and gone down to all 2-0 defeat in Men Single, Women Single, Men & Women Doubles including Mix Doubles.

Raziuddin thought, PBF to stop immediately more rape with the national favorite badminton. He appealed to the PSB and the Ministry IPC to intervene seriously in this in this insulting defeat. There are many solutions to keep national flag high, Razi concluded.

Ashwini Ponnappa and Sumeeth Reddy (India) were the first to take court in the mixed doubles match giving India a 1-0 lead and outclassed Irfan Bhatti and Ghazala 21-9 21-12.

Kidambi Srikanth followed up to maintain lead 2-0 with a 21-7 21-12 win over Murad Ali in the men’s singles fixture.

In the third match India’s domination cleared as P.V. Sindhu pulled off a comfortable 21-7 21-6 win over Mahoor Shahzad. Sindhu’s victory gave India a 3-0 lead and assured the tie to take home.

Having secured the win, India’s men’s doubles pair of Rakiraddy and Shetty took the court. The duo completed a straight set 21-12 21-9 win over Pakistan’s pair of Muhammad Bhatti and Murad Ali.

The last fixture of the tie saw the women’s doubles team of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand beat their opponents Mahoor & Ghazala 21-4 21-5 to complete the sweep.
